Use the information below to improve your tour listings on the GoBicycleTouring website. The more you improve your listings, the more leads you will generate and the more sign-ups you will receive for your bicycle tours.

The title of your bicycle tour is the most important part of marketing your bike tour on the Internet. A good title will not only explain where the tour takes place in the world and what a participate might expect to see while on that tour, but a good title will visually pop, perform well in major search engines (such as Google, Yahoo and Bing) and will generate substantially more interest than tours with weaker titles.
The most common mistake with tour titles is assuming that people know where the tour takes place. For example, you might call one of your bike tours, “The Scenic Mountain Tour.” But which mountain are you talking about? A better title might be, “Rocky Mountain Utah – Scenic Ridge Bike Tour.”
Here are some other examples of poor tour titles turned into much better ones:

[bra_toggle collapsable=”yes” caption=”Upload Higher-Quality Photos”]
Improving the quality of the photos on your tour listings can greatly improve the results you receive in your marketing efforts. Better photos produce more interest in your tours.
There are three easy ways to improve your tour photos:
First of all, replace any photos that might appear pixelated or low in quality. The photos you upload should be 670 pixels wide by 450 pixels tall or larger. If you upload an image smaller than this, the image will appear cropped and/or pixelated when it is displayed on the GoBicycleTouring website.
Secondly, add new, better photos to your tour listings. If you don’t have high quality photos to add to your listings, you should concentrate on getting them on your next bicycle tour. Then add those new photos to your GoBicycleTouring listings just as soon as you possibly can. You might even consider having a professional shoot some high-quality photos for you.
Finally, consider replacing all vertical images with horizontal ones. Vertical images are great, but the images that really pop on GoBicycleTouring are those that are positioned horizontally.

[bra_toggle collapsable=”yes” caption=”Add More Photos”]
At GoBicycleTouring.com, you can display as many as 10 different photos for each of your tour listings. If you are only showing a handful of photos (or even worse – just one or two), you are severely missing out on an incredible opportunity to get people excited about participating in your company’s bicycle tour.
Add more photos to your tour listing by logging into the backend of GoBicycleTouring at www.gobicycletouring.com/login. Then click on the “All Tours” tab on the left-hand side of the screen. From the list of tours you currently have listed, click the orange “Edit Tour” button next to the tour listing you would like to add more photos to. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page where your current photos are displayed.
In this area you can delete your current photos (by clicking the red “X” in the right-hand corner of selected photo), change the order of your photos (by clicking and dragging a photo to a new position), and add new photos to your tour listing by clicking the “Browse” button and/or the “Add More” button before clicking the “Save Tour Data” button at the bottom of the page.
Again, you can upload as many as 10 photos for each of your tour listings. We recommend uploading as many high-quality photos as you can.

[bra_toggle collapsable=”yes” caption=”Change Your Featured Image”]
Your featured image is the first image you select when displaying your tour listing and it is the image that shows up in the search results on GoBicycleTouring.com when people search for bicycle tours to participate in. Because the featured image is the first thing people see when they are looking for a bicycle tour to participate in, the image you choose to display is very important.
Your featured image should in one single photo represent what your tour participants can expect to see, do and experience on your bicycle tour, while at the same time get people excited about participating in your bicycle touring adventure.
You can change your featured image by logging into the backend of GoBicycleTouring at www.gobicycletouring.com/login. Then click on the “All Tours” tab on the left-hand side of the screen. From the list of bike tours you currently have listed, click the orange “Edit Tour” button next to the tour listing you would like to add more photos to. Then scroll down to the bottom of the page where your current photos are displayed.
The first photo in this area is your featured image!
If you would like to change the order of your current photos and make on of your current images the new featured image, simply click, hold and drag the photo you want to use to that first position and then save your changes to your tour listing.
If, however, you would like to add a new image to your tour listing and would like to use this new photo as your new featured image, click the “Browse” button at the bottom of the page, upload that new tour photo and then drag it to the first position on the page. Then click the “Save Tour Data” button at the bottom of the page… and your new photo will now be used as your featured image.

[bra_toggle collapsable=”yes” caption=”Improve Your Tour Description”]
The perfect tour description not only says where you will be going on your bicycle and tour and what your tour participants might see along the way, but should get people excited about the possibility of joining the adventure that you have planned. With a tour description that is neither too short nor too long, your tour description should say:
Finally, end your tour description with a call to action. Get people excited about joining you on your bike tour and then ask them to get in touch with you if they are interested in joining the bike tour they just read about.
