About us
Our Story
This site was originally created by the legendary Darren Alff (who also setup BicycleTouringPro.com) and it’s run by a group of keen cyclists who are dedicated to providing you with information, guides, routes and reviews to help you start, develop and enjoy cycle touring.
We’re always on a bike, from whizzing around town as the quickest way of crossing the city to planning and cycling across longer tours (our favourite pre-lockdown was Copenhagen to Stockholm… awesome).
We publish comprehensive guides to cycle touring and include listings from tour guide providers around the world.
The Team
Darren created the site and wrote much of the original content
Anna leads our team behind the scenes who are working super-hard to help answer any questions tour organisers might have, from how to improve photographs of a listing to a lost password.
SC manages our technology and is constantly improving the performance of the website.
How we make money
To support our technology we earn money from advertising, commission on some products (clearly labelled) and paid bike tour listings on our directory. Any organisation that arranges bicycle tours pays a small fee that offers great value and helps them track views and securely communicate with potential customers.
