Description
The first area in Britain to be designated as a National Park, The Peak District, with its unblemished countryside, has long had a draw on people looking for an escape from citylife and for those looking to get closer to nature. What better way to visit the peak district than from the seat of a bike. With our range of 2-4 day cycling tours we're sure there is a tour for people of all ages and ability.
A three day cycling adventure on this relaxing three day tour in the White Peak. Following the two of the most famous and best kept trails in the Peak District, the High Peak Trail and Tissington Trail, and around Carsington Water, it is a tour which is mostly traffic free. The High Peak Trail, once an old railway line, takes us from Wirksworth into the Derbyshire Dales and some stunning countryside with and dramatic views of the surrounding hills. Near where the two trails meet, we leave the High Peak Trail, and follow Tagg Lane - a local road, into the handsome old limestone village of Monyash.
