Description
In this tour, you will discover all the history of World War II. You can visit the memorials, museums, and the landing beaches used by the Allies during the D-Day. Moreover, you will experience the unique gastronomy of Normandy with its well-known camembert, crepes and apple cider. In addition, you will enjoy the natural beauty of this region with its endless woodlands and manicured countryside. You will discover the Chateau de Caen which was renovated after WWII. A museum of fine arts is settled at the heart of the fortress. You need to discover the town of Sainte Mere l'Eglise where a paratrooper remained suspended during the night of 5 to 6 June 1944.
