Description
If you enjoy traffic calmed cycling and sightseeing from your bicycle, whether on your own or with your loved ones, this route is for you. It features the best cycle routes of southern England, together forming a continous route from London to Land's End, taking in as many famous English landmarks as possible. Choose to cycle the route in short sections or cycle the whole route in one go!
This is not a guided tour, you just cycle with our unique guidebook which features a full pack of route descriptions, high profile mapping, insider visitor information and accommodation suggestions, all over an incredible distance. You arrange the tour yourself as you please. The route is via well paved paths or quiet roads only and is completely continuous; you can be an explorer too!
The guidebook provides approximately 1200 km (over 940 miles) of routes. The route connects with 60 railway stations on the way, so it is easy to start or stop cycling, wherever you are. International visitors can either fly to London and start near the Tower Bridge or use the additional links from the Dover and Harwich ferry ports. An alternative end to Plymouth makes a journey around the English Channel via France possible.
"We relied on the book completely and it never let us down." (Australian National Susan Brown based in Gland, Switzerland on our guestbook page).
