“City by the Bay – Urban Tour” up to 4 hours

Departing at 9am Daily: Experience San Francisco, one of the best biking cities of the 21st Century. Adventure through the city with a professional tour guide who will lead you past some of San Francisco’s favorite landmarks. Start in the Fisherman’s Wharf and follow the guide down the Embarcadero past the outdoor farmer’s market at Pier 1 and making a pit stop at the infamous “Bow & Arrow” directly in front of Treasure Island and The Bay Bridge. Continue along the waterfront to AT&T Park, home of the 2 time World Series Champions of America’s favorite pastime, baseball.
The guide will lead guests through a small portion of the Tech & Design District and into a culturally rich part of town referred as the Mission District. Clients will be taken down a secret alley way filled with local street art which changes daily – no tour will be the same due to the ever changing graffiti. Continue down Valencia Street, towards the Castro District. Riders will make a quick stop at a grocery store to have the option to purchase a to-go lunch and talk about the San Francisco Mint which sits atop a stony hill.
Experiencing “The Wiggle” is one thing cyclists should not miss! This unique bike route takes riders through a flat scenic ride through the inside neighborhoods of SF to Alamo Square where lunch will be eaten and the famous “Painted Ladies “ After lunch, a ride to Haight/Ashbury will take place as guides discuss the history of the “Free Love” era.
After a quick downhill ride, the tour will approach the Civic Center, San Francisco’s government buildings, opera house and symphony hall. The next leg of the journey will go through the South District to the Transamerica Tower. After stopping for a breather, the tour will go up Columbus Avenue and finalize in Washington Square. Guests can cycle to Coit Tower, Lombard Street, check out St. Peter & Paul Church where Marilyn Monroe and Joe DiMaggio were married or simply go shopping in North Beach, aka Little Italy. No ride will compare to this historical and scenic ride through the Urban City by the Bay!
