This cycling tour will take you into the city of Bordeaux, its wine country including the famous village of Saint Emilion and the up to Bergerac in the heart of Dordogne where you will discover mix of vineyards, medieval castles, abbeys, and pre-historic grottos. In Bergerac, you can also visit the Tobacco Museum which is unique in France, and has a great collection of pipes. It illustrates well this industry. There is also the Musée de la batellerie which contains artifacts related to the river trade in the area as well as the history of barrel making and viticulture.
You will lodge in 2, 3 and 4 star hotels. You will sleep in Bordeaux, Saint Emilion, Sainte Radegonde, Bergerac, Tremolat, Les Eyzies and Sarlat. Dinner is included for three nights.
On this tour, road bikes and e-bikes are available for rental : Scott Sportster P3/P4 and P40 hybrid rentals. (105 euros/bike) Pedals with or without straps available. Clients can bring their own Clipless pedals to be changed over.
