We're a cycling club from Moscow and we're going to discover the beauty of the pine forests and rocky hills of the North Kazakhstan. The place is cozy, unique and picturesque and unknown to most tourists - thus we'll have the whole countryside just to ourselves!
We'll climb several hills and explore an abandoned mine during the first two hiking days. We'll then start our 4-day cycling tour to explore forest waterfalls, enjoy the wild berries, camp on 2 picturesque lakes and just enjoy the cycling.
We'll cycle mostly on non-asphalt roads, sometimes trying to find roads which are not clearly shown on the maps - so do prepare for some adventures too!
We'll be caring our camping stuff (tents, sleeping bags, etc.) ourselves. All in all we'll spend 3 nights in a hotel and 4 nights camping in the forest/on the lakes.
The maximum total cost of the trip is 30 000 RUR (around 560 USD), including flights from Moscow - these are your direct expenses, the tour is non-commercial.
There's also an option to meet us in Tumen, Russia, (we're going by minivan from there), in this case the cost will be 15 RUR (around 280 USD), excluding flights to Tumen. Another option would be meeting us in Kokchetav, Kazakhstan, the cost them would be around 10 RUR (around 185 USD), excluding the flights to Kokchetav/Astana.
We're taking our own bicycles from Moscow, if you require any support with the rental, we'll be able to arranfe that at an extra cost.
Just a couple of words about our club - we've been organizing both commercial and non-commercial cycling, hiking and sightseeing tours in Russia and FSU for over 6 years by now. The club is run by enthusiasts and is always successful in gathering wonderful groups of people for our trips which allows us to combine the joy of traveling, seeing new places, sometimes going through hardships with having lots of fun from just spending the time together.
Do not hesitate to contact me shall you have any questions, and it will be just so great if you join us for this beautiful adventure!!!
