Oregon Gravel Adventure

The 2015 Oregon Gravel Adventure is intended to be just that: an adventure!

If you are an adventure seeker looking for a unique and exciting Oregon bicycle experience, this is the ride for you! Bring your enthusiasm for exploring minimally traveled roads where the surface may differ from various shades of asphalt to varying conditions of gravel.

While we are riding through the beautiful Central Oregon Coast Range west of Philomath, you’ll experience the grand forests populated with western hemlock, western red cedar, Sitka spruce and Douglas fir. The understory of the forest is filled with lush western Oregon plants such as vine maple, Oregon grape, salmonberry, huckleberry and sword ferns. Perhaps you’ll catch a glimpse of wildlife in their native habitat while pedaling along the Yaquina, Siletz and Luckiamute Rivers, all noted for their healthy salmon, steelhead and trout fisheries.
